Basic Trainer: Grob G-120TP

The first step to become an Air Force pilot is to earn a commission as an officer in the Myanmar Air Force. After earning a commission, the next step is earning a basic pilot training.
During the basic training, candidates fly specific hours in the Grob G-120TP training aircraft.
The Grob G-120TP is a two-seat, single-engine military trainer aircraft manufactured by Grob Aircraft of Germany.

Advanced Trainer: K-8W

After completion of the basic training, student pilots have to select one of three different advanced training tracks.
Those who select the fighter track go on to fly K-8W, the transport track the Beechcraft 1900, and the helicopter track the EC-120.
K-8W is a single-engine, advanced jet trainer and light attack aircraft which is produced under license at Myanmar Air Force facilities.

Lead-in fighter trainer: Yak-130

After completion of the advanced training, pilots have to fly Yak-130 lead-in fighter trainer to acquire efficient training in combat scenarios with reduced training costs compared to moving straight to operational conversion.
Yak-130 is a subsonic, two-seat lead-in fighter trainer. It can also perform light-attack and reconnaissance duties, carrying a combat load of 3,000 kg.
With that lead-in fighter training compete, pilots go to their assigned squadrons and take operational conversion training. Most of the operational conversion training use twin seat fighters such as MiG-29UB, JF-17B, FT-7K and A-5KJ.

F-15 SE F-15SE Silent Eagle is an upgraded version of the F-15 Strike Eagle aircraft, being developed by Boeing for international customers. The F-15SE features an innovative design which reduces its radar cross section. A prototype of the F-15SE Silent Eagle aircraft was first unveiled in March 2009. F-15SE is 63.6ft (19.4m) long, 18.5ft (5.6m) high and has a wingspan of 42.8ft (13m). The basic design of the  F-15SE  is similar to that of the F-15 Strike Eagle aircraft with new components added. The new components include the conformal weapons bay (CWB) instead of the standard conformal fuel tanks. The CWB significantly increases the internal carriage capacity of the aircraft and also reduces its radar signature. Two additional weapons stations have been included to enable the aircraft to carry an additional four air-to-air missiles. The Silent Eagle also features twin vertical tails canted 15° outward. Canted tails provide rear lift to the aircraft and reduce ballast ...

The ships of this class are currently the largest surface combatants of the JMSDF, taking over the mantle previously held by the Hyūga-class helicopter destroyers.  The lead ship was officially unveiled at Yokohama on 6 August 2013.  On December 2018, the Japanese Cabinet gave approval to convert both ships into aircraft carriers capable of operating the F-35B.
